Body composition is a universal term used in the health and fitness industry. Doctors/Coaches will use body composition to find what percentage of your body weight is fat. This helps them find out your level of health.

Body composition is important because someone else can be the same height and weight as you, but they might have more body fat and less muscle. This could lead to different health issues in them.

Recommend Minimal clothing or tight fitting clothing for increased accuracy.

How do I receive my report?

Send Graham 2 photos one from the front and one from the side, see photo guideline’s below

Photo guidelines

A smart phone will do.

Try to ensure the height and angle are the same in each photo (over the weeks).

A friend or family member can help or use the timer function of your phone (mirror selfies will not do).

Use the same location, ideally a clear white or dark background that is free from distractions.

Use the same lighting every time and ideally the same time of day.

Use floor markings (optional but will make things easier)

Use the same clothing everytime.

Men - recommend wear shorts.

Women - recommend shorts and sports bra.

Adjust shorts so they are waist height or just below so they are not holding in body fat, the photos are for you to document to your progress, not to share with the world.

Take several pictures for each pose, review them to make sure they are in focus and retake if necessary.

Stand roughly 1 foot in front of the wall.

Record 1st thing in the morning after using the bathroom and before eating or drinking anything.Stand upright with your feet shoulder width apart, arms hanging by your side, look straight ahead and smile!

You need to be visible from head to toe.

Photos are 100% private, confidential and are perfectly safe.

Photos are deleted immediately after use.Ā
